Patient Partnership & Patient Citizen Partner Advisory Group (PCPAG)
The Centre of Excellence on Partnership with Patients and the Public (CEPPP) of Université de Montréal (at the Centre de recherche du Centre Hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CRCHUM) is the largest centre focused on patient partnership in Canada. The team at the CEPPP will accompany the project team and mobilize patients and citizens as partners to be involved in all relevant aspects of the project, notably through:
- Involvement in the Governance Committee.
- Assessment of the relevance, acceptability, ease of use and accessibility of the digital tools developed from the patients/citizen perspective (feedback on the potential benefits and challenges, recommendations) via the Patient & Citizen Partner Advisory Group (PCPAG)
- Co-design and validation of the digital platforms/tools and communication materials with the project teams;
- Training of the PCPAG members and key team members on patient partnership.

The involvement and ongoing support of the CEPPP will help to ensure that this project, its activities, deliverables and outcomes will remain meaningful, relevant, appropriate and ethically responsible from the perspective of those that serve to benefit from it, notably patients and citizens.
